Voltana helps the city to reduce its energy costs by approximately €124,000 per year.
The city of Porto launched the Light+Efficiency programme in collaboration with AdePorto (Energy efficiency agency) to reduce its energy costs and carbon footprint.
The city opted for the Voltana luminaire to help it achieve its objectives. Available in 5 different sizes, the Voltana offers an aesthetic coherence while ensuring a quality lighting with high levels of uniformity for safe and comfortable landscapes.
Almost 2,500 Voltana 3 and 5 luminaires have been installed, enabling the city to reduce its energy costs by approximately €124,000 per year.
According to the council “this initiative promotes energy efficiency in public lighting, reducing operating costs and CO2 emissions”.
